The server's service for network booting was stoped due to a malfunction of the program which is booting the PCs in the PC room and on the teaching desk of general classroom. For that reason, PCs were encountered the trouble of hang up or unable to boot.
The PC room of Building 2 and 5, teaching desk PC of general classroom, PCs at library and part-time teacher's room in Omiya campus. Approximately 1400 PCs.

About future measures
As a result of the software vendor's investigation, a defect was found int eh software, so we applied the patch on Nov. 14.
We will change the configuration so as to reduce the impact of trouble and also strengthen the monitoring so as respond promptly when a trouble occurs.
