About AMI(SIC Account Management Web Interface)

AMI is an abbreviation of 'Account Management Interface'. It is a user interface for managing user settings of SIC.

1. What you can do using AMI

If you have forgotten the password other than IC Card password, you can re-set it by yourself. In this case you should login to AMI using 'IC Card Authentication(EVE MA)' which is using Student ID Card / Employee ID Card. But if you have forgotten the password of IC Card, you should re-issue it at the student affairs division (or Human Resources division for Faculty/Staff). Note that, if you register the BIOmetrics(Fingerprint) to IC Card, you can login to AMI using IC Card Authentication with BIOmetrics(Fingerprint), without the password.

In addition, you can change various settings, activate or de-activate for SRAS services. Also you can view the logs about SRAS, Printing&Copying.

2. How to login to AMI

There is two ways to login to AMI. The one is 'login with UNIX Password', and the other is 'login with IC Card Authentication (EVE MA)'.

* Login using the password

Enter username of SIC to 'Username' box, then enter UNIX password to 'Password' box.

* Login using IC Card Authentication (EVE MA)

3. The layout of the web interface

After you logged in to AMI, Personal settigs will be displayed.

About 'operations' menu.

Password
You can change the password for various services.
Even if you forgot the current password,
you can change it.
Activation
You must activate the service
before you use it.
Deactivation
You should deactivate the service,
when you no longer use it.
Log/Record
You can view the logs of operations,
Printing&Copying, SRAS
Personal info
You can check your username, Email address,
the server name of MyVolume,
Email settigs,
SRAS activation status.

4. Notes about AMI

* Restriction of accessing to the AMI
AMI is accessible from the PCs that are connected to Campus LAN.
You can not access from PCs other than PCs at the PC room, PCs that are connected to laboratory network, PCs that are connected to SRAS, Campus Office PCs.
* Please logout
Please 'logout' when you have finished to use.
*The situations when you can not login to AMI
If you forgot the UNIX password and also you forgot the password of IC Card, you should re-issue the password at the student affairs division (or Human Resources division for Faculty/Staff)
