1. How to login to Scomb

Accessing Scomb from the PC in the computer room or the lecture table PC in the general classroom, the SSO (Single-Sign on) is enabled and the username and the password are not required .

The SSO system is implemented using ADFS (Active Directory Federation Service) related to Windows Authentication. Once loged in to one system, the username and the password are not required to login to another systems related with the ADFS (Super Eigo AE3 etc).

When accessing from outside above PCs to Scomb URL (https://scomb.shibaura-it.ac.jp), press `Sign in` button to start ADFS Authentication.

2. Values entering to the authentication page

On the authentication page, you should enter the username of Windows (SIC domain) and their password.

The Username field, please put into your account name of SIC (Center for Sicence Information) append with leading `SIC\', or the accout name append "@sic.shibaura-it.ac.jp" at the end.

ex.

SIC\aa17000

aa17000@sic.shibaura-it.ac.jp

The password field, please put into your password of SIC (Center for Science Information).

Accessing with a browser other than Internet Explorer on Windows, the authentication Web page will appear.

Accessing with Internet Explorer on Windows, the `Windows Security' authentication dialog will appear.

In the case of iOS, please enter `\ (back slash mark)' instead of `¥ (yen mark)'.

Depending on your environment, the `\ (back slash mark)' will appear in spite of you push `¥ (yen mark)', but it is no problem.

3. After authentication succeeds

When the ADFS authentication is success, Two-factor authentication page will appear. Two-factor authentication will protect your account from the password leaking and the attacks to the password by using One-time password in addition to the password.

Two-factor authentication is available using MoSICA(モシカ) apps.

In case of Two-factor authentication disabled, press `Next' to display the portal page of Scomb

In case of Two-factor authentication enabled, enter one-time passcode then press continue.
